Amy Jade Winehouse (14 September – 23 July ) was an English singer, songwriter, and musician. With over 30 million records sold worldwide,[1] she is known for her deep, expressive contralto vocals and her eclectic mix of musical genres, including soul, rhythm and blues, reggae, and jazz.[2][3]
